Chennai Super Kings Cricket Schedule
Chennai Super Kings is one of the teams that play in the Indian Premier League T20 cricket tournament. As the name suggests, the team is based in the Indian city of Chennai. The team is owned by a company called India Cements, which is run by M. Srinivasan. He is also the secretary of BCCI which is the governing body of the game in the country.
Captain of the team is M. S. Dhoni, who also happens to be the captain of the Indian national cricket team in both the formats of the game. The team exclusively participates in the IPL & in the T20 Champions League. Other notable players in the team include Suresh Raina, Michael Hussy, Albie Morkel, Dwayne Bravo, Tim Southee, Scott Styris etc. The team has an excellent record in IPL having won the tournament twice already in 2010 & 2011. They reached the final in the first edition of the tournament & were defeated in the semis in the very next one in 2009.
