The Indian national cricket team has been invited by the Baggy Greens to have a tournament by the end of this year. India would be touring Australia in December 2014 for an international bilateral series that would be hosted by Australia. The series will stretch up to January 2015. The India V Australia 2014-15 series is organized by ICC and is the part of FTP. The post here  is a short brief on the December-January India Australia cricket series.

The India versus Australia 2014-15 international bilateral series would comprise of Test matches solely and the tournament would commence from December 4th. There would be 4 Test matches in total till January 2015. The first Test match is to commence from December 4 and would finalize on December 8. The match would be hosted at Brisbane based Brisbane Cricket Ground. The Test captain for the Indian national cricket team is Mahendra Singh Dhoni while the Aussie Test cricket team would be spearheaded by Michael Clarke. 

There is a 4 day gap between the finalization of the 1st Test and the start of 2nd Test which is scheduled to start from December 12. The match would be hosted at Adelaide Oval. Apart from Adelaide and Brisbane, the Test matches of the 2014-15 Australia V India international bilateral series would be hosted at Melbourne & Sydney. There is a huge 9 day gap till the 3rd test commences after the conclusion of the 2nd Test match. Thus, both the teams would be getting great deal of time to practice and relax. The final Test match is slated to start on January 3rd. It would be hosted by Sydney based Sydney Cricket Ground.

The India V Australia 2014-15 Test series is expected to show up with great powerplay given the strong squad backup of both the titan cricket nations. However, the Aussies have an upper hand in this case as they would be enjoying huge homecrowd support- which is always a big plus for any team in a match. The international bilateral 2014-15 Test series between India and Australia would finalize on January 7, the next year.
